New 26-27 Principal for CES

Superintendent Amanda Isabelle is pleased to announce that Ryan Limero will assume the role of Principal at Canaan Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Limero has spent his education career in the Mascoma district, beginning at Enfield Village School in August 2014. He taught Grades 1, 3, and 4 while at Enfield Village, and ascended to Associate Principal of Indian River School in August 2023. He also has served on several building and districtwide committees devoted to best educational practices and improving student outcomes.

Limero holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Sociology and Anthropology from Elmira University. He is also working toward a Master's degree in Education Leadership from New England College. He has twice served as Head Coach of the Mascoma High School varsity soccer team, from 2015-2017 and 2022-2024, sharing skills and knowledge gained while playing on the Elmira varsity team.

"I'm very excited for this new opportunity. Canaan Elementary has a great, dedicated staff," Limero said. "I look forward to meeting students and their families in the coming months and find ways for each student to reach their full potential."

All school items - pencils, paper, scissors, crayons, etc. are provided by the school.
